Delectable Brunch Spots in South East London

Brunch is easily our favourite meal . Delicious runny eggs paired with first class coffee is the best way to start any day.

Feeling hungry? Wet your appetite with our lowdown on South East London’s hottest brunch spots.

Brown and Green, Sydenham

BG

If you’re not already familiar with Jess and Laura, let me tell you a bit about them. They are single handedly leading the brunch revolution within and around the Crystal Palace triangle. Brown and Green Sydenham is their third outlet, and in our opinion, their best yet. All the brunch options are fab, but the feta cheese scrambled eggs are mouthwateringly good.

Duck Egg Cafe, Brixton

Duck Egg Cafe

This cute little cafe is always busy, mostly due to their simple yet delicious breakfast options. The clue is in the name with this one, duck eggs are served as an optional addition to their brunch options. If you’re unsure then try them. You won’t be disappointed.

Canvas and Cream, Forest Hill

Canvas and Cream

You can’t imagine the world of wonders you will stumble across on entering Canvas and Cream. This cafe is a mish mash of classic interiors, quirky vintage finds and delicious food. Their pancakes are the stuff dreams are made of, and the french toast is wonderfully moreish.

The London Particular, New Cross

London Particular

If you’re looking for seasonal fresh food, then The London Particular is a great spot to try out.  Founder and head chef Becky Davey knows that a dining experience is all about the personal touch, and this shows as you can see thought goes into every single element of their menu. We tried the Jerk Aubergine with cucumber and dill dressing. An absolute mouthful of wow.

No. 67, Peckham

Number 67

No. 67 is a gorgeous hidden gem in South East London. Attached to the South london Gallery in Camberwell it’s a great place to go if you fancy a lazy brunch. If you do make the trip then make sure to pop into the South London Gallery, which is a treat in itself. If you’re not sure what to order, try the Spanglish. You won’t be disappointed.
